31 October, 1975
There was this mouse called Jacob.
And he lived there with neighbours,
Who were mice haters,
Called cats,
And he lived there with a mole,
Named plain Johnny O’Coal,
In a small little hole,
In the hall.
It was nearly bonfire night,
And they thought they’d have a bite,
But first they’d have to fight,
With the cats.
They loaded themselves up with rockets,
And put them in their pockets,
And marched out through the front door.
