Catching the atmosphere with The Room

Commentary to “The Room”:

The night before I had been working to 04:00 in the morning and then I was up again a couple of hours later.

By the afternoon I was pretty washed out. I had been working on a new music composition, which was still floating around my head, as well as thinking about tons of stuff which I had to do. :-(

I just needed a couple of minutes of thinking of nothing - of creating a void, to let go, re-tank.

So I just wondered into the living room of HomeBase, and being the idiot I am, I tried to capture the atmosphere, of me being washed out and the room. I had furry company, so there were three of us in the end, enjoying a quiet sceance with Drab Art.

And you might be asking how did I do it, relaxing, and creating the texts?

Well, when something just popped into my head, or when I saw something and tried to describe it, I recorded it using the audio memo function of my phone.

I later transcribed it and restructured/developed it.

It also gave me a couple of laughs so it was the best drug against being overloaded.

That is why it is now 03:00 in the morning.
And my Mom said I should go to bed early. Silly me.

The piece is called “The Room”

You might call it depressing, you might call it fab,
You might call it rubbish, you might call it drab,
You might call it crappy, I don’t give a shit ;-)
but it gave me a smile and I think it’s a hit \
