Sometimes one wants to give advice, be helpful to somebody. But if it is taken the wrong way or its not wished, and it backfires, hurting that very person you wanted to care for, you regret it afterwards, for days, for weeks.
I tried to capture the feeling when it goes wrong in a poem calls “And So I”
I don’t normally swear - well I try not to.
As a kid I would have got belted for using such swearing words.
But sometimes there is a no more fitting expletive as a short swear word and it just pops out.
