I operate several servers. One of them was showing a high traffic. Normally one is pleased when there is traffic but this time if was from over 100 users who were entering lots of comments full of advertising links - they were adding at least 4 comments each minute.
Even though they were only pre-authorized and the comments were not being published. The users were coming from a country where people are hived very closely together.
That’s one of the problem when running a site where people can comment - sometimes it can be damn hard work.
