Since a couple of days I have been playing with Markdeep - a javascript for easily creating documents for showing in a browser. It has some really cool features and I want to use it for a new project which I am going to launch.
Markdeep is a technology for writing plain text documents that will look good in any web browser, whether local or remote. It supports diagrams, calendars, equations, and other features as extensions of Markdown syntax.
If you are writing long specifications in Markdown, numbering paragraphs is a real bind. The script is great in that it auto creates a table of contents (TOC) and it auto-numbers the paragraphs.
Authors can just write their documents in plain text, copy a couple of lines into their document and the document can then be read in a browser.
More information about Markdeep can be found here.
